Who is this course for?

This free course is for graduates seeking tips on how to score their first job in planning. It is also suitable career changers who want to understand and explore careers in planning.

In this course you will learn:

  • where to look for planning jobs and the sheer range of opportunities available

  • how to navigate  common application processes including CV / personal statement tips

  • how to effectively showcase your knowledge and skills in interviews​

This course also draws on interviews with a range of planning professionals in different roles who explained more about the realities of working in planning, and why, despite the some of the challenging aspects of the role, they still love doing it!

What is the format?

This engaging course is taught live via Zoom through a series of presentations interspersed with opportunities for Q and A. The main part of the course is 45 mins but we schedule it for 60 minutes to ensure you have time to ask questions. Places are limited to a maximum 10 participants to allow time for everyone to participate.
