Public Practice - Career Shaping

Public Practice is a social enterprise that recruits placemaking professionals to placements in forward-thinking local authorities. They run a job placement scheme which places mid-career level built environment practitioners known as Associates into public sector organisations looking for new skills and expertise. Public Practice has produced a really thoughtful series of videos in which Associates share more about their career journeys as they walk to work at their local planning authority.

Pinch Yourself, You’re a Planner

Pinch Yourself, You’re a Planner shines a light on inspiring planners at different stages of their careers and in different specialisms. This joyful podcast, created by Karolina Grebowiec-Hall, uncovers how they stay optimistic and engaged. All of the interviews to date are well worth listening to, but look our for a particularly inspiring interview with the Royal Town Planning Institute's Vice President Elect, Helen Fadipe.

Meet the Planner, Plan Your World, RTPI

The Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) invites you to meet Pan Chong and other inspirational planners as they briefly share their career journeys and project highlights. This series of profiles includes planners who dreamt of entering the profession from a young age and some who stumbled into it down the line.
